Baku’s withdrawal of the resolution “On occupied territories of Azerbaijan" from the 64th Session of the UN General Assembly is evidence of the OSCE Minsk Group’s diplomatic victory and proves to the international community the Karabakh conflict should be solved within the OSCE MG format, Secretary of  the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Aram Safaryan told NEWS.am.

In this regard, Safaryan forecasted new intensification in the Minsk Group activities, which will result in the signing of a final document.

According to the Armenian MP, this document will be submitted to the next OSCE summit in Astana. “A recipe for success in the negotiation process within the OSCE MG is that its positions coincide with those of the Armenian side. The international community realizes there is no alternative to the OSCE MG in the Karabakh peace process,” said Safaryan. The MP emphasized Azerbaijan will increase pressure on the OSCE and intensify propaganda within the organization, and the Armenian side should be ready for it.
