On the initiative of Mayor of Adalar Municipality Mustafa Farsakoglu, the children’s park in Kinali Island was named after Hrant Dink.

Dink’s widow, Mustafa Farsakoglu, chief adviser to the Mayor of the islands Raffi Hermon Araks, editor Rahip Zaragokolu and others attended the opening ceremony of the park.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Member of Turkish Republican People’s Party, Mayor of Adalar Municipality Mustafa Farsakoglu made a decision at the administrative council to name the children’s park in Kinali Island after Hrant Dink.

“He was a patriot and a good journalist. The residents of the island deeply grieved for his tragic death. Dink liked children and the children will be happy to see him in the park,” Farsakoglu said.
