The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) will abstain from voting on the bill on recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) submitted by the Heritage Party, Armen Rustamyan, an ARF Executive Council member, told NEWS.am.
According to him, the party’s voting against the document may be misinterpreted inside and outside Armenia. “But we are against putting the issue on the agenda in this way,” Rustamyan said.
Proposed by the Heritage Party, the bill was criticized by the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations chaired by Armen Rustamyan. However, the document was put on the agenda of the next four-day session scheduled for this October.
