On September 17, Speaker of Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia Alexander Bozhko, whos completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
Abrahamyan stressed that the Armenia-Ukraine relations have great potential to develop in all fields. According to him, over 60 interstate, intergovernmental and interagency agreements and treaties are signed between the two states, the RA NA press service informed NEWS.am.
In his turn, Mr. Ambassador said that Armenia achieved significantly in many spheres during his 5-year activities in the country. The diplomat highly appreciated the bilateral relations and expressed confidence the states have considerable potential to develop. Alexander Boazhko informed Abrahamyan of his intention to open an Armenian studies centre at Kiev University.
The sides also discussed Chairman of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn’s visit to Armenia.
