Official circles in Moscow once again turned to the possible sale of two divisions of Russian anti-missile system S-300 to Azerbaijan.

However, the spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry once again declined to comment.  "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not engaged in the arms sales," the Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko said. "There are a number of specialized government agencies, which operate in accordance with the law and have the appropriate compliance. These agencies are well known. I will recommend you to contact them.”

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry refused to comment on this information to the correspondent of NEWS.am. "Russia's Foreign Ministry does not comment on statements of anonymous sources, especially in respect to weapons supply, said the Department of Press and Information Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

A buzz regarding a possible sale of two divisions of Russian anti-missile system S-300 to Azerbaijan is growing. The information was initially, disseminated by Russian newspaper Vedomosti. Baku reaction followed immediately. The deputy head of the press service of Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Teimour Abdullayev said that "Azerbaijan has systematically tightened his grip on their army, and will proceed in this direction."
