Turkish President Abdullah Gul met Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the sidelines of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Turkish Cihan agency reports. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also attended the meeting.
Later, Gul met with President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Dervis Eroglu.
Both meetings were held behind the closed doors.
