Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

At the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the officials discussed a number of issues on the development of Armenia-Russia relations.

The same day, Nalbandian met Tunisian Foreign Minister Kamel Morjane. According to him, direct flights between Yerevan and Tunisia, launched by the Armenian Airlines Armavia, may play an important role in the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Edward Nalbandian also met with Foreign Minister of Kosovo Skender Hyseni. He stressed though Armenia has not recognized Kosovo, similar meetings are effective for exchange of views.

Armenian FM also met with his counterparts from Estonia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Cyprus, Singapore and Hungary. He invited Hungarian FM Janos Martony to visit Armenia and got an invitation from Foreign Minister of Singapore George Yeo to visit Singapore.
