On September 23, the aircraft with Youth Symphonic Orchestra landed in the Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport. Ninety-four musicians from CIS states and Georgia, soloists - Chinese violinist Fan Nin and opera soloist from Belarus Oksana Volkova, as well as conductor Vladimir Spivakov have arrived in Armenia. 

The CIS Youth Symphonic Orchestra was created at the initiative and assistance of the CIS Council for Humanitarian Cooperation and the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.

The concert of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra will take place on September 24 Yerevan.

The program includes works of Giuseppe Verdi, Niccolo Paganini, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Camille Saint-Saens, Georges Bizet and national composers of the tour member states, spokesman for CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation Alexander Kalugin told NEWS.am.

Yerevan is the third city of the tour. The orchestra has already performed in Astana, Ashgabat and Baku. Thereafter, the musicians will visit Moscow and Kiev.
