The Azerbaijani community of U.S. sent a letter to Congressmen Barbara Boxer and Michael Bennet who opposed appointment of former OSCE MG Co-Chair Matthew Bryza to the post of U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

The authors expressed their deepest disappointment with a “hold” placed by Barbara Boxer. Trying to prove Bryza’s impartiality towards both Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Azeri community strongly supported Bryza’s candidacy, showing Baku’s interest in his appointment.

The Azerbaijani community called Boxer’s statements on increasing aggression of Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh false. Finally, they once again recalled about “occupied” territories of Azerbaijan.
