The resolution of Karabakh conflict remains the main condition for normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated in New York, Cihan agency reports.

“Everyone must respect the territorial integrity of another country, and sooner or later, relations between Baku and Yerevan will have to return to normal," Davutoglu said.

On October 10, Armenian and Turkish Foreign Ministers signed the protocols on the normalization of relations in Zurich. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and Secretary General of the Council of the European Union Javier Solana attended the signing ceremony. However, Turkey started to link the Armenia-Turkey normalization process with other issues, particularly the Karabakh conflict resolution.
