YEREVAN. – The draft law On Recognizing the Republic of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], and which National Assembly (NA) of Armenia opposition MPs Zaruhi Postanjyan and Hrant Bagratyan had submitted, on Monday was not put on the agenda of the current NA session.
At Monday’s session, solely twelve MPs voted for putting this bill on the agenda, whereas the remaining deputies did not vote, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from Parliament. Only the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Faction MPs and some opposition Heritage Faction members voted in favor.
As reported earlier, the aforesaid draft law was not approved Monday at the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.
