On October 1, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby in Yerevan.

The officials discussed cooperation issues between Armenia and European Union, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

The sides stressed Armenia-EU relations are developing dynamically both in multilateral and bilateral formats. Nalbandian underscored the start of talks on Armenia-EU association agreement gave a new impetus to the Armenia-EU relations. The Minister also hailed the productive negotiations during the telethon between Yerevan and Brussels on the threshold of impending talks in Brussels, on October 12.

Nalbandiana and Semneby also referred to the foreign ministers’ meeting of member states of Eastern Partnership project, as well as issues to be discussed at the session of Armenia-EU Cooperation Council on December 23.
