President of the Armenian-Russian Friendship Association (RODSA) Victor Krivopuskov made early resignation, he informed at the Moscow inter-regional conference in August, 2009.

Krivopuskov’s decision was induced by his new appointment as Chair of Russian Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, engaged in international humanitarian cooperation and contacts with compatriots, as well as Counselor of Russian Embassy in Armenia. Meanwhile he was elected honorary president and head of the Society’s board of trustees.

Vice-president of the Society Ivan Afanasyev assumed president’s duties.
