On October 4, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs had to launch assessment mission in Nagorno-Karabakh. However, the members of commission whose names are kept secret have not arrived in the region yet, Haykakan Zhamanak reported. NKR Foreign Minister Georgiy Petrosyan told the newspaper that the mediators would come later.
The Minister noted that the members of commission are known, but refused to name them. “It is not absolutely clear what is going on,” he said. Asked to comment on the points that are unclear, Petrosyan replied: “Must I answer your questions?” and hung up.
The Spokesman for NKR Foreign Ministry Marsel Petrosyan asked the Co-Chairs to clarify what is the reason of delay and send a list of the mission members, as the Karabakh side has not received it yet. Asked when the commission will arrive, he said, “May be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. It is up to them.”
