Talks to revitalize the Armenia-Turkey process are being held in Rome, member of Sardarapat initiative movement Tigran Khzmalyan told the reporters on October 5.

According to him, the former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan and former Adviser to the Armenian First President Zhirayar Liparityan are presenting the Armenian side in the talks.

The Sardarapat Movement is concerned over this fact and intends to raise questions whether the Armenia authorities are aware of the fact and if not then whom are these people are authorized by.

The Press Secretary of the Civilitas Foundation Anna Sagabalyan said Oskanyan has not left the country over the recent two months. According to her, at the moment Oskanyan is in Yerevan.

As reported previously, recently the Turkish mass media disseminated information that Switzerland held telephone conversations with Armenia and Turkey on the resumption of Armenia-Turkey process. Commenting on the information, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu stressed normalization process is not suspended and Ankara intends to continue the reconciliation with Yerevan.
