A large Japanese company, Pioneer, has filed a law suit against the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The local mass media report the company applied to Baku Economic Court #1, claiming debt repayment.

The court is to hold a sitting on October 12.

The Pioneer Company and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan signed a contract. The company provided electronic equipment to the ministry. The Azeri side, however, did not pay off its debt. According to the claim, the Azerbaijani defense office is to pay about U.S. 120,000 to the company.
