Turkish Transport and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim touched upon the possible ban on Facebook at the conference of the Union of the economical journalists.

According to him, there are 30 resolutions to ban Facebook in the country, but the social network did not come forward with any initiative to solve these problems. “They do not fulfill their commitments as they do in other countries. This is a lawful country. What Facebook does in Israel, Germany and Brazil, it is obliged to do the same in Turkey,” the Milliyet daily quotes the Turkish minister.

As reported previously, the Turkish president constantly uses his Twitter account to condemn the country’s ban on YouTube and some Google services.
