Russian “MSC Nikita” and Ukrainian “Nirint Pride” vessel trackers collided in North Sea, near Holland.

Both container ships were heavily damaged as a result, Mikhail Voitenko, Chief Editor of Russian “Sovfracht” maritime bulletin stated. Aboard “MSC Nikita” and “Nirint Pride” were 18 Russian and 23 Ukrainian crew members respectively.

According to the bulletin the accident occurred 20 miles away from the Port of Hook of Holland. As a result of the collision a fire broke out on “Nirint Pride” board.

Under the latest data, ‘Nirint Pride’ was tracked to Rotterdam. Voitenko did not specify whether there were victims among the crew
