The information on the ceasefire violation by the Armenian side on the contact line, as a result of which an Azerbaijani soldier was injured on October 12, is untrue, Press Secretary of the NKR Defense Ministry Senor Hasratyan told NEWS.am.

According to Trend News Agency, 27-year old Azerbaijani serviceman Elgiz Rustamov was wounded as a result of the ceasefire violations by the Armenian armed forces in Agdam region. Rustamov has been hospitalized and the doctors assess his health status as moderate, stated Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s Press Service Teymur Ambullayev. 

“The Armed Forces of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic maintain the ceasefire, it is another misinformation by Azerbaijani mass media,” Hasratyan stressed.
