On September 1, 2009 Russian Premier Vladimir Putin arrived in Poland for the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Second World War.

Meetings with Polish officials, as well as leaders of European countries are planned. Particularly, Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Polish counterpart Donald Franciszek Tusk, as well as PMs of Ukraine, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Finland, Slovenia and Croatia.

The issues of Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the economy, energy and finance sector, as well as allowance of loan to Ukraine will be touched upon at Putin-Tymoshenko meeting, Russian mass media reported.
