Over 68 illegal migrants were arrested as a result of operations conducted by Turkish law enforcement agencies in different cities of the country.

Twelve Azerbaijani citizens, 6 Iraqis, 2 citizens of Myanmar and 1 Pakistani were detained on the checkpoints of Van, Sirnak, Igdir and edir cities, Anadolu agency reports. All the migrants had problems with documents.

Besides, 47 people, 19 Palestinians, 14 citizens of Myanmar, 6 Azerbaijanis, 3 Afghans, 2 Syrians and 3 Turks, were arrested trying to illegally cross the border.
