Over a week has passed since bill on NKR’s recognition proposed by the Heritage party was discussed in the Armenian Parliament. However, the parliamentary majority, that asked to postpone the vote, has not put forward any proposals yet, head of the Heritage faction Stepan Safaryan told NEWS.am.

Taking into account this fact, the Heritage party will fulfill its promise and put the document to the vote in a week, unless the representatives of the parliamentary majority offer certain compromising variant of the document by then. According to the sources at NEWS.am’s disposal, in case the document is put to the vote, the parliamentary majority will vote against despite the issue of Karabakh’s recognition may cause fuss within international community and especially Azerbaijan.

ARF Dashnaktsutyun is the only party that stated it would vote for the document.
