The EU-Armenia subcommittee for energy, nuclear security, transport and environment is to hold a meeting in Yerevan on October 19.

The EU delegation to Armenia informed NEWS.am that the meeting will be chaired by RA Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan and John Kjaer, Head of the Unit for Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Southern Caucasus, External Relations Directorate General.

The meeting is to discuss the EU-Armenia energy cooperation, regional energy and nuclear security, including measures to put the Armenian NPP out of operation.

The meeting will also discuss transport problems, Armenia’s environmental policy, climatic changes and civil defense.
