On October 18, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Vice Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, President of Armenian-Lithuanian parliamentary friendship group Algis Kasheta.

Nalbandian stressed high-level political dialogue and efficient cooperation within international agencies has been established between Armenia and Lithuania, RA NA press service informed NEWS.am.

The officials discussed intensification of trade and economic ties, steps taken by the two states to develop parliamentary cooperation and cooperation between the parliamentary assemblies within international organizations. The sides had an in-depth discussion on regional and international issues, as well as Armenia-EU cooperation.

Nalbandian and Kasheta exchanged views on security issues in the South Caucasus.
