On October 19, the policemen hindered the protest action by the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) in front of the RA governmental guest house, where CE Forum for Future of Democracy, is being held.

The policemen prohibited ANC representative Vladimir Karapetyan and other oppositional activists to hand in their letter to the representatives of the forum.  

Karapetyan told the reporters that by means of their protest actions they will show the forum participants “what police state we are living in.” The policemen also pulled ANC activist Vardges Gaspari.

Some of the ANC activists are dressed in prisoners’ uniforms with political prisoners’ names.

MP from “Heritage” parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan, who is taking part in the forum, is also among the protestors.
