The UN is ready to make its contribution to resolution of the Karabakh conflict, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said at a press conference following the ceremony of the 60-th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights.

“Today there are many conflicts in the world. These conflicts, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, must be resolved through a dialogue and peacefully,” Trend News quotes the UN Secretary General.

On October 19, the Council of Europe celebrates the 60-th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights. It is protecting rights of 800m Europeans in 47 countries.
