On October 25, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited the UN office in Armenia on the occasion of 65th anniversary of the United Nations.

He congratulated the UN Resident Coordinator Dafina Gercheva and the staff, RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am. President Sargsyan highly appreciated the activities of UN mission working for Armenia’s development and welfare of the Armenian citizens since 1992.

The Armenian President emphasized that UN’s role in development of mankind is irreplaceable. Serzh Sargsyan stated that becoming a UN member in 1992 Armenia was actively involved in the UN agencies and did its utmost to contribute to its mission.

Dafina Gercheva stressed that activity of the UN mission will be impossible without strategic cooperation with the Armenian government.
