On October 27, Armenian parliamentarians paid tribute to memory of the victims of the 1999 terrorist attack in the National Assembly.

Prior to the sitting of the National Assembly, MPs laid wreath to the memorial dedicated to Oct. 27 victims near the parliament.  Relatives of the victims – Greta Sargsyan, mother of Premier Vazgen Sargsyan, Rima Demirchyan, spouse of Karen Demirchyan - also attended the ceremony.

Opening the sitting, Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that the October 27 terrorist attack was not only a tragedy but crime against the Armenian statehood. MPs honored memory of the victims with a minute of silence.
