Resumption of hostilities in the region must not be ruled out theoretically, Secretary of Republican Parliamentary group (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov told a press conference on October 28.
The side unleashing the war will suffer both political and economic and human losses. Firstly, a war is not beneficial for Azerbaijan. Baku-Jeyhan oil pipeline, British Petroleum and other international corporations operate in Azerbaijan, Sharmazanov stated.
"Unless our neighbor fails to understand a war is not a solution to the conflict in the 21st century, threat of war will exist. This is the reason the international community should toughen its stance on Azerbaijan’s provocations. As Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated in Munich 2 years ago, Armenia does not wish a war, however we are not afraid of it,” Sharmazanov emphasized.
