The Heritage party will put to the vote bill on Karabakh’s independence on Dec. 9 despite any political processes, leader of parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan told the briefing at the Armenian Parliament.

“For us the most important point is to arrive at logical conclusion, but not to lead certain political forces to deadlock,” Safaryan said.

In his turn, secretary of Republican parliamentary group Eduard Sharmazanov said that first-priority is Karabakh’s international recognition. “We will back any initiative that pursues this goal and will oppose the steps hampering it,” he noted.  Sharmazanov once again stressed that the Armenian side will not yield an inch in it position, namely Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be a part of Azerbaijan.

He also stressed that it will be impossible to reach final and efficient resolution of the Karabakh conflict without full participation of Stepanakert. “Our European partners also started realizing it,” MP said.
