On October 29, leader of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with Austrian Ambassador to Armenia Michael Postle and military attaché General Helmut Felner.
The sides discussed Armenia’s domestic political issues, as well as problems on restoration of democratic freedoms, in particular release of political prisoners, freedom of assembly and press.
Representative of ANC central office Avetis Avagyan was also present at the meeting.
