At least 4 people were killed in two car bomb attacks in Somalia's capital Mogadishu, reports BBC. One of the explosions took place near the checkpoint of the peacekeeping mission, the other near a hotel. Al-Shabab Islamist group took the responsibility for the attacks. In 1991, after the overthrow of Siad Barre regime, Somalia ceased to exist as a unified state.
