At least three tourists who were climbing the volcanic mountain Acatenango in Guatemala died, because of a sharp decrease in temperature, reports RIA Novosti. According to rescuers, there were two groups of tourists heading to the volcanic mountain. The rescuers could not save two women and a man from one group. The whereabouts of three men from the second group is still unknown. Only a 55-year-old woman from the second group managed to survive.

Prensa Libre website informs, that the ill-fated tour began in the morning of January 7. There began a strong wind, which tore off the tents of the tourists. At the same time, the decrease in temperature made all the participants feel sick.
