Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz on January 18, the official spokesperson for the Russian MFA, Maria Zakharova, said on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports.

“While discussing key international problems, the Russian side will mainly focus on the tasks of taking exhaustive joint measures to effectively counter terrorism and normalize the situation in Syria,” the diplomat said.

It is also planned to discuss the inter-Ukrainian, Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniester settlement, as well as the situation in the Middle East, Yemen and Libya.
