YEREVAN. – Armenian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan was received by Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
The Prime Minister noted with satisfaction that the Armenian-Japanese parliamentary reached an important stage of development cooperation in recent years and had a positive impact on the cooperation between the two countries.
The NA President thanked for the warm reception and expressed hope for deepening of Armenian-Japanese cooperation also within various international platforms, parliament’s press office reported.
Mr. Sahakyan conveyed the official invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan to visit Armenia. Japanese Prime Minister asked to convey his warm greetings to the Armenian leader, adding that he is ready to further deepen and develop cooperation with Armenia in all possible areas.
Speaker Galust Sahakyan and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe also discussed economic cooperation, trade, culture and tourism, and outlined possible ways of cooperation in other areas.
