YEREVAN. - Armenia attaches great importance to the decision on holding the summit of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) in Armenia in 2018.

Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian stated the aforementioned at a press-conference on Tuesday.

According to him, Yerevan generally attaches great importance to the development of relations with the OIF member-states.

“Holding the summit in Armenia is an exclusive opportunity, an important platform for dialogue, especially with the countries where Armenia has no embassies,” the FM noted, adding that the preparation for the summit has already started.
