The NATO Parliamentary Assembly will not consider draft resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh submitted by Azerbaijan, Karen Avagyan, MP and head of the Armenian delegation to NATO PA, told NEWS.am.

“Resolution is removed from the agenda of the forthcoming NATO PA session,” Avagyan said.

He reiterated Yerevan’s stance: the peace process should continue within format of the OSCE Minsk Group and not any other. Avagyan recalled that Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan also appealed to NATO with a request not to consider the resolution.

Earlier it was reported that resolution drafted by Canadian reporter Raynell Andreychuk would be discussed in the course of the NATO PA session held in Warsaw on November 12-16.
