A group of Azeri political refugees held a protest action in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Hague to condemn the dictatorial rule of the incumbent Azerbaijani government, human rights violations in Azerbaijan, the arrest of bloggers and journalists.

The protestors were wearing donkey suits to mock the Azeri government. Each “jackass” was tagged with the name of a top Azerbaijani official.

The demonstrators handed a petition to the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands, then marched to the Hague Inetranatoional Court and ended the action.
