On November 9, four young activists of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Sargis and Areg Gevorgyans, Vahagn Gevorgyan and Sargis Ghazarayan visited the editorial office of the Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

"Late in the evening the young men felt bad and they were immediately taken to Hanrapetakan Hospital to undergo medical examination," the daily writes.

As reported previously, on November 9, at 10:15 a.m. young protestors of the Armenian National Congress clashed with policemen in Charles Aznavour Square (near Moscow Cinema). A deputy of Kentron police chief of staff Arayik Petrosyan insulted the young activists and prevented them from processing along the Republic Square.

The policemen cordoned off the area with yellow tapes and placed barriers for the protestors not to march. The young men opposed, considering their action illegal.
