Famous Armenian actor Yervand Manaryan and film director Tigran Khzmalyan are concerned over ongoing prospecting for uranium in Lernadzor village, southern Armenia, Manaryan told the reporters on November 10.

Manaryan stressed Armenian incumbent authorities should adopt a reasonable approach to the use of lithosphere.

The two will arrive in Kapan to participate in the Nov. 11 protest action organized by an initiative group against uranium prospecting activities in Lernadzor viilage of Syunik Marz.  

In his turn, Tigran Khzmalyan emphasized if the uranium mine operates in Kapan, the city will become deserted.
