West is trying to penetrate into post-Soviet states and gain control over the countries using sectarian organizations, Alexander Amaryan, head of Center for Rehabilitation and Assistance to Victims of Destructive Cults, said during today’s Yerevan-Moscow-Georgia-Ukraine space bridge.

“Sect is first of all money and power. Heads of sects get money, whereas political parties use their power on sect members during election campaigns. Political forces treat sectarians as potential voters,” he added.

About 90% of sect textbooks resemble manual for security services. Amaryan noted that people are fraudulently involved in a sect and forcedly kept under psychological influence.

In his turn criminal psychologist Yuriy Irkhin stressed that sectarian organizations are successfully developing due to applied psychological technologies.
