On November 10, Armenian Foreign Minister paid an official visit to India, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

Nalbandian met with Vice President of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari in New Delhi.

According to Hamid Ansari, India is ready to increase efforts to develop multifaceted cooperation with Armenia. Nalbandian emphasized Armenian leadership attaches great significance to the expansion of friendly relations with India.

The officials stressed the intensification of political dialogue, discussed the steps to develop bilateral economic and cultural cooperation, to expand collaboration in the spheres of information technologies, education, agriculture, health and forming contractual underpinnings.

Nalbandian presented regional conflicts in the South Caucasus and Armenia’s stance on the issues.

The same day, Armenian FM met with Director General of Indian Council for Cultural Relations Suresh Goel and delivered an interview to Asian Age daily.

On November 11, Armenian FM will meet his Indian counterpart. He will also deliver a speech at Indian Council of World Affairs and an interview to Indian state television.
