YEREVAN. – The government is working to make Jermuk more attractive tourist destination, PM Karen Karapetyan said during a meeting with the local residents.

The Prime Minister said a complex program is needed: the town needs a cinema, a theater.

“Many people think that it is more profitable to build hotels, but till we have no comprehensive program and no entertainment for clients, tourists in Jermuk will get bored on the third day. We want the world to love us, but we do not do anything for it. Let's make it so that we can sell services, develop Jermuk. We just wonder why people are not coming here. Why should they come, if there is nothing to do here?” Karapetyan said, adding that a similar situation is seen in Yerevan.
