A dangerous incident occurred in Springfield, Ohio. The pipe fell in a wrong direction during the demolition of an 83-meter high chimney at a power station.
No injuries were reported, but the pipe snapped the 12.000 volt power line. As a result, four thousand local residents were left without power, AP reports.
The incident occurred on Wednesday during the demolition of the old power station on Edison Mad River Power Plant, commissioned in 1927, in Springfield, Ohio.
