Five Armenian IT companies: X-Tech, LimeTech, Essential Solutions, Idram and EKENG gained awards at the GITI 2010 event held in Tbilisi, Vahan Hovsepyan, adviser to the Union of Information Technology Enterprises, told NEWS.am-Innovation.

“It is first Armenia’s success, our companies won 5 awards out of 14 possible,” he said, adding that the prizes were granted to the representatives of state and private sector.

Four out of five Armenian winners were representing private sector, he noted.

Armenian delegation was assisted by D-Link, USAID, CAPS and USAID RCI. The visit was coordinated by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises.
