Baku hopes Karabakh issue settlement will be the most crucial in Armenian-Turkish negotiations, Ali Ahmedov, Executive Secretary of leading Yeni Azerbaijan Party told the journalists September 5.

“Azerbaijan respects the statement of Turkish Premier on the opening of Armenian-Turkish border only after Karabakh issue is settled. We hope it will be the most significant part of Armenian-Turkish negotiations,” Ahmedov said.

Yeni Azerbaijan representative pointed out that Turkey should not take steps going against Azerbaijani’s interests.
