On November 17, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow. Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to Dmitry Medeved for his mediatory efforts to resolve Karabakh conflict.
“I would like to express my gratitude for your personal efforts. Russia always played a crucial role in Caucasus. I hope your efforts will soon yield results,” RIA Novosti quotes Sargsyan. Speaking of bilateral relations, the Presidents mentioned they are of privileged nature.
Medvedev emphasized he often holds meetings with his Armenian counterpart and this enables the two leaders to “synchronize” bilateral relations, regional problems, touch upon resolution to Karabakh conflict and outline prospects for the future.
