On November 18, Kazakh President of Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the summit of the heads of Caspian littoral states, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
A guard of honor was lined up for Kazakh leader at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Kazakh president was welcomed by first deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.
On November 18, Baku will host the summit of the Caspian littoral countries. Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Iranian, Russian and Turkmen Presidents participate in the summit. A security cooperation agreement covering the Caspian Sea is expected to be signed at the summit.
