Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has left for Portugal to participate in the NATO Summit meetings of Heads of State and Government, held in Lisbon on November 19-20.
NATO new Strategic Concept, peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan and other issues will be discussed at the summit.
Twenty-seven world leaders plan to attend the event.
