On November 21, Peter Semneby, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, will visit Azerbaijan.

He will hold meetings with recently released youth activists Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade and their families, as well as representatives of the EU embassies.

Besides, Semneby plans to return to Baku in the end of the week to hold meetings with Azerbaijani government and civil society representatives, Trend reported.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, Hajizade and Milli were arrested on July 8, 2009. Milli was sentenced to 2.5 years, whereas Hajizade to 2 years in prison. According to international and independent observers, numerous violations were registered during the trail.

Many international agencies condemned bloggers’ arrest considering it a response to video criticizing Azerbaijani authorities for purchase of several donkeys for € 40,000 in Germany.
